Azad Kashmir is one of the most wonderful places, mostly still in its pristine beauty and without rush of tourists. An exclusive program to Rawalakot and Neelum Valley is combined with Shogran in Kaghan Valley and Ayubia in Galliat, completes a Yatra of lower Himalayas.

ITINERARY

    Day 01 Islamabad – Rawalakot / Banjosa Gali

    We depart from Islamabad and drive to Rawalakot via Azad Pattan. From Rawalakot, we make a scenic trip to Banjosa, with a small artificial lake surrounded by green hills.

    Day 02 Rawalkot – Bagh – Suddha Gali

    We depart from Rawalakot and crossing Bagh, we reach high up Suddhan Gali, a picturesque place with comfortable accommodation facility. A night stay at Suddhan Gali is unforgettable experience.

    Day 03 Suddan Gali – Muzaffarabad – Pir Chenasi

    We depart from Suddhan Gali and descend to Chikothi road, leading to Indian border. We reach at Muzaffarabad and visit Muzaffar Fort and Domel, confluence point of rivers Jhelum and Neelum. Later on we climb uphill and reach Pir Chenasi, a lovely place offering superb view of distant Muzaffarabad and surrounding hills.

    Day 04 Pir Chenasi – Sharda

    We drive down and start driving along River Neelum and crossing Athmuqam, Neelum and Dowarian, we reach at Sharda and stay along river Neelum in a comfortable resort. At Sharda, we visit ruins of a Buddhist monastery.

    Drive along River Neelum is not picturesque only but offers unique opportunity to see Indian village across the river, particularly the town of Titwal with Indian flag and vehicles etc.

    Day 05 Sharda – Noori Pass – Naran

    An adventurous jeep ride take us to Noori Pass, descending in to Kagahn Valley. Reaching at Jalkhad, we pass through Batakundi and reach Naran, the heart of Kaghan Valley.

    Day 06 Naran - Excursion Lake Saif-ul-Muluk
    Naran – Khannian / Shogran

    Today, we will make a visit to the legendary lake, Saif-ul-Muluk at 3200m. where Malika Parbat ( 5271m ), the highest peak of the valley, towers over the lake and offers great venues for candid shots and superb photography. Lake can be approached by jeeps, on foot or riding a hired pony. After a packed picnic lunch at lake, we will return to Naran and in afternoon, we depart for Shogran.

    We enjoy a drive along River Kunhar and crossing the village of Kaghan, we stay for overnight at Khannian. Our stay will be at a picturesque resort, on the banks of fast flowing Kunhar. Or we will drive to Kawai and further on to Shogran, a high plateau with superb panorama around.

    Day 07 Khannian – Excursion Paya
    Paya – Balakot – Ayubia

    Early departure for Paya, a vast plateau at the foot of Makra Peak, bordering Kaghan with Azad Kashmir. After enjoying a superb panorama around, we drive down to main road and reach Balakot, the last town of Kaghan Valley while descending. Balakot is settled on the banks of River Kunhar, the lifeline of the Kaghan Valley. After a short break, we resume driving to Mansehra and reach Abbottabad, from where we turns towards Galliat region and Murree. Crossing Nathiagali, we reach at Ayubia and stay for overnight there.

    Day 08 Ayubia – Murree – Islamabad

    At Ayubia, we spend morning with free time to enjoy Chairlift or a walk at Pipeline track. Later on we depart for Murree and make a break to enjoy walk on Mall Road. From Murree, we drive down to Islamabad and drop you at a designated place.
