Baluchistan, a nomadic and formidable land, offers a dramatic landscape. A journey in this region seems beyond any time limit. The great span of arid lands with a fierce but hospitable tribal people, makes the place very exciting for travellers to this region.

A camel safari in this region is an unbelievable experience, especially in the gorge of Bolan, which is a rocky desert.

ITINERARY

    Day 01 Arrival Pakistan ( Karachi )

    Welcome in Pakistan at Karachi and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon we will make a city sightseeing tour of old & new city of Karachi.

    Day 02 Karachi - Excursion Chaukundi Tombs

    Chaukundi offers superb artwork on sandstones, used as cairns on graves. In the afternoon we will visit Karachi Museum and Clifton Beach.

    Day 03 Karachi - Shah Noorani

    We start with a visit to Hinidan Village, with its old graveyard with carved cairns on the bank of Hub River. We also walk to visit a holy cave and shrine of a saint Shah Noorani.

    Day 04 Shah Noorani - Lasbela

    We will drive to Lasbela, the final resting place of Mohammed Bin Haroon, the first Arab Governor, and Sir Robert Sandeman, the first British administrator of Balochistan. Evening is free to visit local bazaar of Lasbela.

    Day 05 Lasbela - Khuzdar

    We will drive to Shehar-e-Roghnan to see the cave dwellings and later proceed to Khuzdar, an important town of Baluchistan Province.

    Day 06 Khuzdar - Quetta

    Driving through picturesque Baloch villages of Kalat and Mastung, we arrive at Quetta, and finish our first part of the travel adventure.

    Day 07 Quetta - Day Free

    The day is free at Quetta to visit local bazaar and nearby Lake, Hanna and visit Urk Valley, known for its fruit orchards.

    Day 08 Quetta - Excursion Ziarat Hills

    We head northwest through gorges to the famous hill resort of Ziarat, which has the oldest juniper forest in the world. Ziarat is also famous for snowfall in winter and is a popular winter resort. In the evening, we will return to Quetta for overnight.

    Day 09 Quetta - Herok - Mach

    Start of another great adventure as we travel to Herok by an exciting rail journey. Herok is situated in Bolan Pass, the famous route of caravans to and from Persia and Afghanistan. From Herok onwards we will cover the distance to Mach riding on camels for 4/5 hrs.

    Day 10 Mach - Pir Ghaib

    This is an easy day as we cross a low pass to arrive at Pir Ghaib, an oases and a quiet place. Pir Ghaib is surrounded by trees of date palm and a waterfall with small pool is spectacular.

    Day 11 Pir Ghaib - Barari

    A bath in the pools is tempting. We start riding for Barari Village crossing a vast rocky desert and villages with date palm tress. Crossing a low pass, we descend in to a wide flat place and camp short of Barari Village.

    Day 12 Barari - Pishi Thal

    Crossing the Bolan Valley from west to east, we might come across Balochi nomads. We keep on riding and arrive at Pishi Thal for overnight in camp.

    Day 13 Pishi Thal - Tarkari

    Coming out from main Bolan valley we enter in a picturesque gorge and gradually climb a high point and have panorama of distant mountains. We descend to an oasis and arrive at our campsite for overnight.

    Day 14 Tarkari - Osepur

    Following a seasonal stream Mushkaf Nadi, we arrive in a dry gorge and then follow it to the main valley. En route we cross shallow streams to arrive at our campsite.

    Day 15 Osepur - Dhadar

    We descend to the flat plains of Sibi and stay for overnight in a rest house. This is the end of camel riding so we enjoy a bonfire on last night with our camel crew.

    Day 16 Dhadar - Sukkur

    We mount on vehicles to arrive in Sukkur, passing through the arid lands of Balochistan. In Sukkar our stay will be in hotel.

    Day 17 Sukkur - Boating in River Indus

    We make a brief city tour and take a boat ride in old wooden boats with Mohanas, an aborginal tribe of boatmen.

    Day 18 Sukkur / Karachi

    In the morning we will transfer to airport for flight to Karachi and rest of the day is free for shopping and exploring bazaars.

    Day 19 Departure

    Our staff will provide transfer and assistance at departure and say bon voyage for your onwards journey.
